    Looks like BYU and Texas are closing to signing a home and home to be played sometime after 2011. Who knows how long out that will be.

    Their schedule would be
    @texas
    @Oregon St
    USU
    San Jose St
    Hawaii
    @La Tech
    @NM st
    @Idaho
    @Utah (or at home depending on how the schedules work)
    some Div II school
    Open Home
    Open Home (Possible Away if Utah is a home game)

    Who do they get? Army and Navy already have full schedules for 2011. ND has 11 games (6 home and 5 away) and it probably way to much money to leave on the table to not play that last game at home.
    USU keeps wanting a home/home in hoops, maybe we can offer one in football. That'd really give the Beehive Boot a thrill.

    It woke me up. Just moved into this roach motel and I thought it was settling or something.

    How about as a Wyoming fan, at least when they play BYU?

    Um, when Utah left the MWC it affected us. Also, at the time there was a lot of discussion around the Big 12/Pac 10/Big 10 expansion that would directly impact BYU and the MWC.

    As it sits right now, this has no direct impact on Utah. There may be an indirect impact on recruiting, but I doubt there is since I'm sure Utah is already going after those 4 and 5 star California recruits.

    This doesn't affect you. You've moved on to bigger and better things, where it would take "a lot of money" to get you to even play us, a lowly non-BCS school. Remember?

    Also when BYU goes independent they will no longer be Non-BCS. Unlike Utah we do not need to ride on other teams coattails to be successful.
    I didn't know there was a tier lower than that?

    I think Arizona and ASU's fans would like to also be watching it from the stands. 30 years, 60 chances between the two teams -- one Rose Bowl bid.
