Right. GC is always the first sunday of April/October, and the day before-- even if the day before is in the preceding month. This will be the rare GC where day one is in September.Originally posted by beefytee View PostI believe general conference is the weekend before. We have a Friday night game against cincy the weekend of conference.
Last time I remember something like this was 2001, when day one of the Spring conference was March 31.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

Yeah, worse case it might be a 6-6 year. Four games are within reasonable driving distance for me. Also, I am thinking of attending the Ute game down in Waco with my Baylor buddies.Originally posted by All-American View Post10 P5 games. (Real P5, by the way-- no PAC teams.)
6 P5 road games. Not one of which is even in our own time zone.

TCU and Texas
Im gonna love this conference since I’ll have at least one game within driving distance and possibly 2 or 3 each year."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Ha. I almost got emotional today too. I knew this was coming but to see it in black and white hit me. We are finally in the promised land.Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostI don’t care if we lose every game. Almost want to shed a tear. Dude, I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I can envision a far worse case scenario than 6-6. BYU could easily go 4-8. 6-6 would be great and anything over 6 wins would be amazing.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

Yeah, I'm tempering my expectations this first year, especially on the heals of last season. This being BYU, it seems likely some of the results will surprise us.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post
