10 P5 games. (Real P5, by the way-- no PAC teams.)

6 P5 road games. Not one of which is even in our own time zone.

Good heavens, I hope we are ready for this.

Right. GC is always the first sunday of April/October, and the day before-- even if the day before is in the preceding month. This will be the rare GC where day one is in September.

Last time I remember something like this was 2001, when day one of the Spring conference was March 31.

Yeah, worse case it might be a 6-6 year. Four games are within reasonable driving distance for me. Also, I am thinking of attending the Ute game down in Waco with my Baylor buddies.

I don’t care if we lose every game. Almost want to shed a tear. I’ve waited my whole life for this.

                      TCU and Texas

Im gonna love this conference since I’ll have at least one game within driving distance and possibly 2 or 3 each year.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Ha. I almost got emotional today too. I knew this was coming but to see it in black and white hit me. We are finally in the promised land.

Yes, welcome to Big 12 country! What took y'all so long? I have been living in the heart of the promised land for a long time.

Dude, I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I can envision a far worse case scenario than 6-6. BYU could easily go 4-8. 6-6 would be great and anything over 6 wins would be amazing.

Yeah, I'm tempering my expectations this first year, especially on the heals of last season. This being BYU, it seems likely some of the results will surprise us.
