It was great watching the Beavers take it to Boise state last night.

I, for one, was rooting (in vain) for the Broncos in that game.

Twitter has been pretty fun last night and today. This one made me laugh. The responses are funny too.

I don't know much about Jody's situation. Was he fired recently or something? But he touched a nerve.

Utah fans are in all kind of delusional justifications. Hans Olsen seems to succinctly vocalize their thought process. Essentially, Florida is a top 15 team. Utah wins that game 8 times out 10. The swamp and environment really caused the Utes a lot of issues and Florida still only won on a fluke. Utah is still sitting pretty and can make the playoffs.

Florida is maybe the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC. Maybe. Sounds about right that the game was even between their 5th best team and the Pac favorite.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Last 2 minute were insane. In the past I’ve kind of liked LSU. Would love to see a game in Death Valley (either one. Clemson of Baton Rouge). With that said, I can’t stand Brian Kelly. I enjoy seeing him lose in the most brutal fashion.

                    Agreed. Completely unlikable.

College coaches are the worst clock managers. When the replay ruled the LSU player down in bounds, why TF would the FSU coach call a timeout to allow LSU to see the defense, run the snap count, shift, etc? They should have had their defense called and made LSU snap it immediately after the ready for play whistle in order to get a play off. I doubt LSU scores the TD if they had to do that.

My thought as well. I heard somebody speculate that the ref saying LSU would have time for one more play meant that they would not run the clock, which also makes no sense.

That was a really poor explanation by the referee. LSU did have time for one more play, but that is not a ruling based in any written rule. It is a judgment based on the situation. He should have just said "the clock will start on the ready for play whistle". Maybe that added to the FSU coach's confusion but he should have known better and asked for a clarification.
