, daydreams and success (or lack thereof) in the bathroom,
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
It's strange that people take the time to write such banalities, and even stranger that there's apparently an audience for such stuff. If people wish to subscribe to hourly reports concerning my dining habits, daydreams and success (or lack thereof) in the bathroom, maybe I'll start tweeting, although it occurs to me that my kids became a captive audience for such reportage long before the advent of Twitter.
Good work. Banality is the word I wanted. Better than drivel. I knew there was something better but couldn't put my finger on it.

ok when we start talking about putting your finger on PAC's banal (which he may or may not be tweeting about from the toilet) I think this thread has reached its nadir (now that is a great word).
I'm glad BYU is restored to its old perch as the most loathed team in the MWC. This should make things a little easier for the Utes his year. It's hard to get up an extreme head of hate twice a year.
The MWC is going to have to help BYU save face. What will it be? It has to be something more than a hug.

I disagree. When it's all said and done, I have not doubt that this thread will enjoy prominence in the anals of CUF history.

Are you suggesting that BYU was ever NOT the most loathed team in the MWC? Or just that BYU was (or was almost) not in the MWC?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

This is what happens when you stray into a thread shortly I after me. Now you are going to have to confess to your SP.

I think that Utah would have been most loathed but for recent developments.
Feared, maybe. Not loathed. No one, outside of BYU, hates Utah. Well, WYO might. But WYO doesn't hate Utah more than it hates BYU.

Maybe. I remember only one, and it was a masterpiece of outrageousness. You miserable vomitous mass.

I got death threats from KKK members on my mission, and yet it didn't compare to the level of hate I've felt in Laramie... it's beyond anything I've felt in my life.

True story. A buddy of mine travelled with friends and family to Laramie for a Utah/Wyoming game. Avid Ute fans, they stopped in a local sports bar, all decked out in Utah crimson. They were met with turned heads, hushed expletives and derisive looks. When the waiter finally sauntered over, he was obviously not in a friendly mood. My buddy breaks the silence by asking, "So, who do you guys hate more, us or BYU?" After that, everything was just fine.
