Because it would be karmic justice. (I am trying to think of such a statement coming out of a Ute player. Not sure it's possible for heathens to be sanctimonious.)
OK, you get credit for some good smack there, even if it's fundamentally lame.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostIt also does make sense that little brother would go to the little brother, so you may have a shot after all!

Who reacts worse if he goes to Utah, BYU or Utah fans? After all the crap Utes gave his brother. Maybe there is sometimes a reason not to burn a bridge. Life lessons are fun.Get confident, stupid

I could see a younger brother going to a rival school just to be different, maybe even to ruffle some feathers. Come on. Who cares. Utah has a better chance at landing Collie than BYU does of landing the WR at Heaps school. Yet BYU offered as a sophomore. Stranger things have happened in recruiting. Utah staff would be dumb not to offer an athlete that meets their criteria just because he has BYU ties. Ask the Kaufusi's about that.Originally posted by Bengal Cougar View PostI see your point, I still think it's a waste of time because there is about a Lloyd Christmas chance that he goes to Utah. And it is a verbal offer, I don't think he is eligible to receive a written offer until his junior school year has started. Trust me when I say this, if Bob Anae is still the OC when Collie Jr. is making his decision I don't think BYU is a sure thing. I am not saying that he won't go to BYU if Anae is still the OC. I am just saying that he will definitely listen to other schools and take a strong look at them. Which really doesn't mean anything but I hope you are picking up what I am laying down.Originally posted by Bengal Cougar View PostI see your point, I still think it's a waste of time because there is about a Lloyd Christmas chance that he goes to Utah. Wait... I thought that BYU didn't have a prayer of attracting top LDS talent now that Utah is in the PAC."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I don't think that's true at all. I do think that being in the PAC will help Utah make some occasional minor inroads into BYU's awesomeness and will allow the Utes (occasionally) to pick up a fairly decent LDS athlete who has testimony issues.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWait... Just the ones who want to use the Heaps Loophole and play for BYU so they can be perceived as a faithful LDS young man without serving a mission.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWait... I thought that BYU didn't have a prayer of attracting top LDS talent now that Utah is in the PAC.

The youngest kruger kid has an offer from byu (and UCLA and USC).Originally posted by Bengal Cougar View PostDylan Collie, Austins little brother. He will be a junior this year.
I gotta ask, what's the point? That's a waste of time to even offer him if you ask me. If he does not come to BYU, he will be going to a top school( if he gets those kind of offers)"Be a philosopher.
