Or mountain biking or hiking. Or stay in Sedona and drive down for the game.

Agreed. Only Mormons would rate Phoenix higher than San Francisco.

                You are so wrong.

As a bay area native who has spent plenty of time in the city--the city is no longer a great destination. Professional conferences have avoided it in recent years and the visitor-friendly areas have shrunk, and yet have also exploded in tackiness.

Agree to disagree. I respect the opinions shared on this interweb-message site; even if that opinion is that Phoenix > San Francisco.

No, liberal cities like SF and Portland are great for shopping... Anything under a couple of thousand is "free"!

Brazen Oregon Lowe's shoplifters push carts laden with $2,000 of copper cable in latest example of 'legalized stealing' in lenient Dem states
                        • Two men casually walked out of the store in Keizer, Oregon with a shopping cart loaded with electrical goods
                        • Among the $2,000 in product were spools of wire with valuable copper
                        • One employee stops a colleague from going after them, saying: 'Not worth it'
                        • Police are investigating the incident and the men have yet to be identified
                        • Oregon jails are taking in fewer inmates after pressure from prison rights groups over COVID-19 concerns
                        • 'These people know they can't go to jail,' said Keizer Lt. Andrew Copeland
                        • Theft in Oregon is more than 30 percent higher than in the rest of the country
'Once you've stolen from Lowe's once and know they can't stop you, there's no real consequence,' Keizer Police Lieutenant Andrew Copeland told Fox News, noting employees at many chain stores aren't allowed to stop shoplifters.

'Second thing is, these people know they can't go to jail.'

Yeah but the conservative state government makes the shopping no fun. It’s more fun to shop in places where everyone agrees that you shouldn’t be arrested for picking up (and walking out) a spool of wire that you might need later at the local Lowe’s on the way to the game.
