Chip Brown on Sunday's Big 12 conference call...
Edit: Also, said this...A high ranking official at a Big 12 school told Orangebloods.com Sunday that "much progress was made" during a conference call with the Big 12 presidents and chancellors Sunday at 1:30. The primary topic was Missouri and the Tigers' future in or out of the Big 12.
The source said there was optimism that Missouri would stay in the Big 12 and that interim Big 12 commissioner Chuck Neinas would be issuing a press release discussing the progress.
But nothing will be finalized as it pertains to Missouri until MU Board of Curators meet on Tuesday. The curators are deciding if the Tigers should apply for membership to the Southeastern Conference, sources have said.
A Big 12 official told me to expect a press release from Neinas in the morning.Last edited by Uncle Ted; 10-02-2011, 05:00 PM."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

The BYU coaches show was consistently shown on KSL on a Sunday. I know Bronco taped it on Saturday but I doubt the other coaches did. Hopefully we can let this one slide.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThe B12 has weekly conference calls on Sunday? I wonder if that was a point of negotiation with BYU? Plenty of good LDS folks work on Sunday. Why would BYU think they are exempt from situations that a lot of good faithful members find themselves in.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThe B12 has weekly conference calls on Sunday? If Romney wins the Presidency, do you think he will be instructed to do nothing on Sunday in order to prevent the wrong impression of mormons to get out?

Yet Lavell and Crowton were heathens for doing it live on Sunday. Bronco seems to me to be the true Pharisee.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThe BYU coaches show was consistently shown on KSL on a Sunday. I did as well. I basically did a lot of IT work for BYU and it was the best time to do server upgrades and other maintenance.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostI worked for BYU on Sundays, so I'm sure its no big deal."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

What about conference weekend? I can't believe BYU would make someone work on conference weekend.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostI did as well. Yeah, he definitely needs to watch his ps and qs. It seems fan sentiment is changing. I wonder how much is attributable to losses and how much is due to his attitude toward fans.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostYet Lavell and Crowton were heathens for doing it live on Sunday. BYU didn't make me work on conference weekend or Sundays. I found, however, it was the best time to get stuff done with the minimal amount of disruption to the users.Originally posted by hostile View PostWhat about conference weekend? I was scheduled for Sunday. I drove a mini-zamboni-like floor cleaner on all tile, stone and wood floors In the Wilk after church on Sunday nights.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostBYU didn't make me work on conference weekend or Sundays. We had the TV on today for conference and I couldn't help but be struck by the irony of church-owned KSL making money off of LDS-themed ads timed to run before and after conference.
