In reference to A&M going to the SEC officially, this still means very little to BYU.

I disagree. See the reasons Coach and DDD offer. TAMU officially gone means quite a bit in regards to the stability of the Big 12 which seemed to be what some supposed was BYU's biggest hangup.

I really don't know how this is going to go, but I have such little faith that a practical answer will be arrived at given my general disbelief in the LDS way of seeking inspiration that I'm a lot more inclined to give greater weight to negative, "we're turning down the B12" tidbits than perhaps I should? Dunno.

We'll see. I hope they go the Big 12 route. Will be devastating otherwise.

You gotta make sacrifices to hit the big time. Utah sacrificed with the PAC by not getting paid for a few years and BYU sacrificed with the Big 12 by playing in Austin every year. Gotta do what you gotta do.

I don't know exactly who bluebrotha is, but I know who the staff is (coaching is a stretch, if Vike and I are thinking about the same person). The family he is talking about has lots of potential "brother-in-laws". Good people, ardent cougar fans, season ticket holders since the beginning of time.

Is Colorado getting the same deal? What was the official explanation for phasing in revenue to a school that you invite to join up? I was AWOL last summer and so I never read the daily deets like I am this time around.

Also, it is my understanding that the full share does not come in year 2, correct?
