re 10 vs 12 no specific discussion today. He personally would like to get back to 12 teams. But to rush out and get less than top flight members would not be wise.

That encapsulates--perfectly--BYU fans' mindset. When people bag on Jake Heaps or Bronco Mendenhall, etc., they're really saying "we are second to none."

My advice to BYU: don't try to negotiate. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. These guys are smarter than you.

Dude... lately these guys haven't looked smarter than anybody.

It has been clearly pointed out that there are many good teams in the Big 12 and if they can work out their differences... they stand to make huge money together.

They need to put aside their selfishness and petty personality issues and recognize that they need each other to succeed.

Regional conferences are a driving force behind college football. They make sense and drive the emotions behind the game, it's more fun to beat up on your neighbor than some kid from outta town.

Even though I know I'm gonna hear about how much better the Big 12 is than the PAC. I hope BYU gets in with them after they resolve some of this petty and stupid squabbling.

Having two Utah teams from competing premier conferences will be good for the locals.
