The Big 12 is signing a humongous television deal.
Bad news is that Greg Swaim of Big Time Sports doesn't include BYU as a school targeted by the Big 12.
In order, teams the #Big would likely want are #ND, #FSU, #VT and #Clemson. I still doubt they can get the Irish, but Dodds is sure trying.Comment

The day the Big 12 took West Virginia is the day all hope died for BYU's bid. It makes no sense for the Big 12 to cover 3 time zones and have such a large geographical gap between BYU and the other teams. Our only hope is that the ACC teams flat out reject the Big 12 and BYU is a leftover option....which would put us in the exact same category as Utah

What some apparently fail to grasp is that the only major conferences to lose teams are the Big East and the Big 12 (and the SWC which is what the Big 12 has transformed into). An ACC team is not going to join the Big 12; the ACC is a more stable conference and has already cherry picked Big East team (which didn't include West Virginia).In order, teams the #Big would likely want are #ND, #FSU, #VT and #Clemson. As Moliere stated, the Big 12 will have to settle for leftovers if it wants to get back to 12 teams. BYU should be at the front of the line in that regard.
