After the audit report, I verbally said "AMEN!" we had a friend over watching conference and she quickly also said "amen" (she was zoned out) then, realizing no one on tv said amen, she looked at me funny. MJ responded by telling her that I always say amen after the audit report.Originally posted by SCcoug View PostYes as Moliere pointed out in the GC thread the audit report came back clean.
CPAs and Statisticians are the only professions that get there own segment during conference."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Lawyers get most of the rest of them. You people have to remember that Jesus is ultimately a defense attorney.Originally posted by Moliere View PostAfter the audit report, I verbally said "AMEN!" we had a friend over watching conference and she quickly also said "amen" (she was zoned out) then, realizing no one on tv said amen, she looked at me funny. If they did countings then we'd only have reported about 8 million members.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostThose aren't statistics, they are countings."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. This really pisses me off. Totally showing it isn't about inviting the best programs. The SMU slight is an obvious crack at religious schools. Baylor is in, but they wouldn't be if they were being picked now.Originally posted by LiveCoug View Post
Secularism has totally taken over. The 1% are denying the 99% all over the place. I am really getting sick and tired of this. To show how upset I am, I will buy season tickets this year to show I support BYU and know it isn't there fault. As a matter of fact, I will buy 40 of them.

Maybe the BYU baseball team can take Rice's spot in the Big 12. That's the best we can hope for, I guess.Originally posted by byu71 View PostThis really pisses me off.
