Totally agree. Here is what is happening:Originally posted by Flystripper View PostWhat some call drool others call lubrication. I am trying to make this as painless as possible."Don't expect I'll see you 'till after the race"

No need whatsoever. I was actually done with it... right after my first post.Originally posted by originalsocal View PostApparently, I have ruffled some Ute feathers. For this I apologize. I did not mean half of what I said...just venting and really using poor judgment.
May I be forgiven sir?
From there I was just answering back.
My timing sucked just as the dude pointed out.
I hadn't read the last few pages of the thread before I posted, and I perceived the situation to be just more of the same old ups and downs of the entire thread.
If it is indeed true that BYU is out of the Big 12 picture... then that does suck for you guys... and I'm empathetic."We should remember that one man is much the same as another, and that he is best who is trained in the severest school."

Crawl back into your hole! I'm not a BYU apologist; just outlining some risks about BYU playing in the Big 12. A conference I've followed back when it was the Big 8. I'd be the first to admit that BYU admin can be wrong and short sighted; but when I do, it's usually unrelated to football.Originally posted by atheistcougar View PostHello Mr. BYUApologist. Couldn't be that the BOT and admins at BYU are just plain wrong and short-sighted. Right?“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory.”

Fair enough, but you can't deny the things you pointed will be precisely what the cougar-pologists will be using as they forget their disappointment and drink the kool aid again.Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostCrawl back into your hole! I doubt the Cougar apologists will be saying "We didn't want to join the Big 12 because we might wind up with a losing record and have our games shown on some FoxSports channel that might not even be national - better to stick with independence where we can have a winning record and play on ESPN".Originally posted by atheistcougar View PostFair enough, but you can't deny the things you pointed will be precisely what the cougar-pologists will be using as they forget their disappointment and drink the look aid again.“Not the victory but the action. Wow... It'll be interesting to see how this whole process went down. BYU may want and try to keep the details of the last couple of weeks out of the public but some programs in the Big-12 leak more than the Titanic. This thing will come to light. Outside of Sunday play I don't think BYU can come away looking spot free from this.
Unless of course by some miracle that BYU worked out a way to join in a couple of years, but thats a near impossibility.

He thought that Derek Fisher was negotiating the new collective bargaining agreement on behalf of the entire NBA.

BYU has a plan. They were never really considered, but they are leaking through their buddy Chip Brown that they turned down an offer in favor of independence. Please try to keep up.Originally posted by USU Coug View PostWow... It'll be interesting to see how this whole process went down. Ha! I said he was representing the players (and I obviously don't mean "representing" in a legal sense), nothing about negotiating. I think that's a fair statement. Thanks for your explanation over there.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostCardiac has a 180 IQ?

I was trying to keep SU away from that thread though.
