      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

          • We need to invite WSU now… we could use another cat team.

Or maybe when Utah figures out it would be better to be in the Big 12 than the MWC we could invite them conditionally on them either paying the Indians a large sum of money for using their name for their mascot or changing their mascot to some cat, like the pussy cats. We can’t have too many cats in the big 12.

            • Utah reportedly 'likely' to join the Big 12.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                    • Thank you, ASU, for your last-gasp stupidity. You may well have saved the Big 12 from having to add ASU and Utah.

                      • Sounds like there's a chance Arizona doesn't come over.

                        • I'm with Scheer. Arizona is going to stick around for 60% of the money they could get in the Big 12 and to play most of their games on apple TV while still having the very real possibility that the conference falls apart anyway in 2 years and then they truly have no where to go? Not buying it. It would be administrative malpractice to not take this life raft being offered them.

Agreed. I wonder if this wasn't a last ditch PR/propaganda push by the PAC to put a stop on things, at least for a day or two, to give them time to come up with something (can't think of what that might be with that crappy media deal hanging out there).
