No way would pac12 have been able to raid b12. That’s pure fantasy. P12 had been the weakest p5 footballOriginally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post
The Pac-12 could have straight up murdered the Big-12 when Oklahoma and Texas left. Instead, they were arrogant and left them bleeding out on the side of the road to die not wanting to do the dirty work of actually murdering them. Remarkably, the Big-12 was saved by adding a school that proudly discriminates that no one else wanted and a couple of G5 schools and somehow stayed alive.
Now the Big-12 can murder the Pac-12. The question is will they do it or will they leave them on the side of the road bleeding out and run the the risk of a miracle?
Don't be a pussy Yormack. Don't make the same mistake Larry Scott made. Murder them. Finish the job. Take Arizona, Utah, and ASU and end the Pac-12.

I think you are forgetting how desperate the Big-12 was when Texas and Oklahoma left. Also, it had on multiple occasions over the previous decade almost fallen apart.Originally posted by Green Monstah View Post

The Pac-12 offers and TCU and Oklahoma St would have been gone and the conference is dead.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

But the P12 couldn’t do it on account of arrogance/hubris. Now they are going to pay for that arrogance. Karma.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post

So Big-12, do the right thing and murder the Pac-12. Utah, ASU, and Arizona will get that done.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

On that topic, I saw an interesting comment on that the other day. In the end, the P12 teams that will pay the heaviest price for P12 hubris will be schools like WSU, OSU, ASU, etc who probably were NOT the ones voting to reject prior additions out of academic snobbery. Funny how life works.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post

I wonder if WSU and OSU would have voted no on BYU. No doubt Stanford and Cal did, and maybe USC and WA (I wonder about uofutah) voted no. Just crazy how clueless the PAC has been.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

Looking back, when ESPN and FOX singed on with the XII, they knew that the PAC was out there looking for a deal. They both opted for the XII instead.Last edited by myboynoah; 08-02-2023, 10:20 AM.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Isn’t there some prophecy about this? Like the destruction of SLC or something like that?Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post
