        You think it will be friendlier? I don't think so. Not in the short term anyway. Especially given it is now a rivalry between a have and have not. And trust me you'll wish I was Cougjunkie if you ever lose to Wazzu.

            Sheesh, will you chicken littles stop with the Utah State talk already? There are a million differences between BYU and Utah State.

                Should hell freeze over and this actually happens, it wouldn't be a reason for me to go anywhere.

                  It's in Utah's best interest not to care but they will and that is what we are seeing on the board right now. Furthermore, BYU will still get the same recruits it targets as will Utah. Nothing's going to change.

                  What's more I already really dislike Boise, much more than Utah and I'm ready for a different rivalry. It's time for BYU and Utah to move on but the Utes will struggle to do so.

                      Whatever il Pad. But I have already offered best wishes to Utah and I'm looking forward to BYU striking up new rivalries. I'm excited at the idea of Boise in the MWC and BYU's future scheduling.

                        I too think that the board is in for decline. And not with a fury, but with a wimper. I'm not particularly interested in the Pac 10, other than an ocasional interest when something interesting happens at SC. I wont blame ute fans for talking incessantly about their new rivals, and the machinations and goings on with their new conference, it just wont be interesting to me. I will be talking incessantly about our old rivals, and the machinations in whatever conference BYU is in. I wish the utes well, and I think they will do well. I just won't be interested anymore.

                        Starting a rivalry with Utah State wont be that bad. It will be laughable the first few years, but they'll get better. And they hate us enough already.

                          I myself will be interested in hearing how the Utes on the board are feeling about their new situation. I hope they will be interested in us Cougars talking about our situation.

                          I really doubt on this board there will be nasty smack talk about the two situations. I would like to be in a BCS conference, but I don't think I am jealous of Utah.

                          Now, if some Utes do engage in nasty smack talk, I will probably change my mind.

                            I think seeing have nots turning into haves and seeing how posters / fans change will be fascinating. Not just on the board but all over.
