Because coaches don't vote for or against championship games. They (coaches) could vote 12-0 against and if the AD's are for it, well they better get a game plan ready.

I have a grip Dude. If this truly happens as anticipated (Utah in PAC and BYU in MWC) I will have a very difficult time supporting BYU athletics.

BYU will lose some of it's fans. But keep in mind, I would guess that a good portion of the fans that show up on game day are under the age of 18 and the family goes to the games as kind of a FHE or Fathers/Sons outing. The diehard football fans will go to where the best games are. The other BYU fans will come out to have churros with their kids.

You're telling me that the angst isn't about unalderated jealousy? Big brother is jealous that little brother (isn't that how fans viewed Utah) got a better job offer and gobs of money? It's pure jealousy. It's pretty clear by your post that angst, in your case, is too mild a term to describe how you feel that Utah may be going to the Pac-10.

Could it be that Texas was assured that there wouldn't be a title game. Texas held ALL the cards.

It would be great if Utah were in the Pac-10 and BYU was in the Big 12. That would make for some great saturday games in Utah. I just don't think it will happen.......but I'd be thrilled if it did.

Nope... I will still be going to all BYU at TCU games with my hard core, texas football friends. Of course, I go to a lot of other high school games around here as well.
