I disagree, I hope that he is going on a mission because I don't want to see him playing. If he doesn't go on a mission, you can bet I will be posting about how "Donko doesn't want his players serving missions."

Maybe he called to Max Hall's mission.

Every worthy young man should serve a mission. After all, what could be more important than building the Kingdom of God here on Earth?

God's Kingdom needs a competitive football team.

And it has one that will be joining the PAC in 2011.

I've heard rumblings that one of your projected starters on defense won't play a down this year.

Same here, but until there's real news, I'll operate under the assumption he'll play.

Didn't Fotu suffer a knee injury that will keep him out all year?

I'll have to check that. I remember someone tearing an ACL the first day of spring camp, now that you mention it.

Edit: of course, Fotu will be out this season. That ensures Fehoko will be in the 2-deep this season.

I worry about our FS and LB's. As I understand it, we don't have really any experienced FS's and our LB's have gotten some playing time last season (or pre-mission), but other than that they're pretty green.

The defense should be interesting to watch this season. Pitt will be baptism by fire for Sitake's crew.

Lewis will be a tough challenge for the defense. I think he won't be as much of a problem as Unga has been the last 3 years because he's nowhere near Unga's size. Utah will need to slow him down and I think the Utes will be ready for him. KW has had all summer to look at film of Lewis and I don't believe there is anyone in the country better at putting together a defensive game plan. Yes, Sitake is the DC, but I'm sure that Whit is working with him and making suggestions as to how to slow down Lewis.
