FYI, Ogletree is currently on injured reserve and may not be totally ready by fall.

I agree that Heaps has the edge over Nelson. Heaps is the better passer. Personally I am hoping that the Brickoven changes its name back to Heaps because of this kid's performance in the up coming years.

Quezeda seems like he is for real. Some verbal reports I have heard confirm this as well. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him get a lot of play time this fall as well.

Cougars look to fill big hole left by Unga:

Former BYU running back Harvey Unga is hoping to hear his name called during Thursday’s NFL Supplemental Draft.

Meanwhile, with fall camp looming about three weeks away, the Cougars are trying to figure out life without Unga.

Look for a combination of three players who will try to step up to fill the void left by Harvey at running back in 2010

I was able to catch 4 spring practices. Quezada is pretty dang good. I fully expect him to be the every down back by the 3rd game. I think JJ isn't very good at all and will be very limited this year. Quezada is very similar to Matt Asiata in his running style IMO.

My uncle coached for Quezada's rival high school in Cali and he had a ton of good things to say about him.

I just heard that there's a very good possibility that Kaveinga will be filling one of the inside spots. If true, it would eliminate a lot of the question marks for that position.

I thought he was going on a mission.

Did that change because he can play now with USC sanctions?

Yes, he would be able to play right away because of the USC sanctions.

You sure about that? He is on a mission, unless he changed his mind.

No, I'm not entirely sure since I am not able to verify it myself. But I heard it from someone that would know for sure.

Obviously things can change, but as of right now he's apparently leaning towards playing.

I know some on here might disagree, but I hope he is staying because he is a stud.
