    The Utah recruiting thread?

Do you have your head buried in your ass? Van Noy was caught multiple times for underage drinking and was arrested for drunk driving WHILE being recruited to play for BYU.

He was no more a "BYU kid" than Still.

Don't play coy. That is a very specific, recent example.

Anytime anyone on this board says anything positive about the Utah program, you come along and engage in your act.

I don't do that with BYU news here. Or on Cougarboard. I'll admit that I used to. Apparently, you still do.
Hey dumbass I played high school ball with every single coach down at Spanish Fork, I have even helped with the O-line down there and been to several practices, I know most of the kids on the team and I talk to the head coach quite a bit he is a good friend. So you have no damn clue what you are talking about as usual. So like I said shut the eff up and bow out gracefully.

I was right. BYU does cover stuff up. It's hard to sweep a pregnant athlete under the rug, though. So, here we are. If not for a growing baby bump, this entire thing wouldn't even be a story.

The truth was on my side. Call it bitching if you are a BYU fan or calling a spade a spade if you are anyone else in the world.
So she was pregnant 2 years ago? They covered that up? She was playing hoops that season. I don't think you know what you are talking about PU. As Junkie told you in the other thread, you might want to back out of this conversation cause you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Did BYU cover that up? YOu said they covered it up. BYU made him sit for a year you stupid fuck. He had never even signed the honor code and they made him sit out a year that was the stipulation if he still wanted to attend BYU. At Utah a QB beats the shit out of his baseball coach gets kicked out of school and Kwhit is still holding his schollie even though his high school wants nothing to do with him.

Big difference in how this stuff is handled.

Exactly maybe PU performed the abortion he seems like the type.

I never said that BYU covered up the Van Noy deal. I said that he was not a "BYU guy" when BYU recruited and signed him.

The fact is that Still was as much a "BYU kid" as Van NOy, if not more so. That is apparently a fact since someone at BYU offered the kid a schollie.

You're entire point is that Still is not a "BYU kid".

Apparently that is your own opinion. BYU offered him a scholarship. Apparently, the evidence would support my side of things. Or, BYU is in the business of offering kids that are not "BYU kids"?

It's just the typical sour grapes from BYU fans when BYU doesn't get a kid that they offer.

Chances are Van Noy does not make it 4 years at BYU especially since he was already suspended again during spring ball. Still would be in the same boat. They would both be better off at Utah where you can get multiple DUIs, sexually assault women, attack coaches, and shoot opposing gang members with no consequences.

But when they shoot fellow gang members, the hammer falls! Nobody puts up with friendly fire........

Meet our good friend Ol Port. This too shall pass. I hope the ending includes Harvey running through the tunnel after effectively duping the BYU honor code.

                        • I am now 10x dumber for reading the last 2 pages of this thread.

I'm sure if Van Noy leaves Bronco will assasinate his character like he does to all kids that he thinks he owns but go somewhere else. He did it to Manti Teo for over a year.

I thought of you in the Temple yesterday. Apparantly if one goes a real long time inbetween temple visits you get one those special tags when you return. In your case, and the case of many other CUF'ers once they REPENT and rejoing the happy throng, the special blue paper/scarlet letter says "Previously Endowed." Then the rest of us are left to wonder what type of miscreant you had been for all those years.

As far as Unga is concerned, that's probably the right thing. As for whether or not that is consistent with the way Average Joe is treated, we can only speculate.

I'll be surprised if he's not back for the 2010 season. Every quote in every article and even the press release seem to leave that possibility wide open. The fact that it is reported that he withdrew rather than being suspended or expelled speaks volumes, IMO.

He'll be back. The Cougar fans need to stop it with the hand wringing about how this will affect the upcoming season. It won't affect it.

Utah fans need to get past the premature celebration of BYU falling apart next season. Harvey will be back.

Talk about bitching and pulling strings, Goat. Read those quotes. That is what started this all. Hot and cj lost their marbles because of those two posts.

I actually said from Unga's perspective, him playing is the correct thing.

Only a string pulling zoob would take offense from those two posts like happened here.

I think you'll be happy, ole Goat. I think there's a good chance Unga will be playing in the fall. From the standpoint of the kids careers, education, future and what he's given to the program, that is the right thing.
