Kiffin isn't finished. He just received a commitment from a top notch "underclassman" qb.

David Sills, a 13-year-old quarterback from Bear County, Del., has committed to play at USC, according to his private quarterback coach, Steve Clarkson.

ESPN.com's Shelley Smith reported that Sills, a seventh-grader, has verbally accepted a scholarship offer from Trojans coach Lane Kiffin. Sills plays at Red Lion Christian Academy. His coach, Eric Day, confirmed the decision in the Delaware News Journal.

I have a grandson who just turned two this week. He has great hand-eye coordination for his age. I can guarantee his LOI to BYU if Bronco is interested.

Unfortunately, if this kid visits any other school for the next 6 years, Kiff will pull the scholarship. Let's see if he understands the meaning of the word "commitment."

No way, Kiff is cool like that. He will let people throw stuff his way but in the end he will trust him enough and he will go to SC.

I hope, for your sake, that Utah doesn't offer this kid a chance to play. I'd hate to see you disappointed again. That was no fun.

I heard they're recruiting David just to get to his 11-year-old brother.

I don't believe Bronco really "pulled" the scholarship. Technically he may have, but this kid was on his way out. Bronco is kind of a clod hopper when it comes to PR. But he's always spinning. Kind of ironic.

I remember when Tim Floyd started doing this with USC hoops. Many P10 observers were worried that Floyd was 3 steps ahead of the game and Southern Cal would soon be ruling P10 hoops. Turns out it was a desperate move by a desperate coach. Looks like history is repeating itself in LA, if only it were a rePete maybe there would be something to look forward to.

Sills is allegedly Lache Seastrunk's kid. Someone has to look out for these children.

Kif also got a commitment from a 13 year old at Tennessee, Eric Berry's little brother committed to him while in Knoxville.

This also is not the first time Kiffin has scoured the nation’s junior highs for talent. He accepted a commitment to Tennesee from 13-year-old Evan Berry last summer.

One trick? In the past week or so, there have been several Oregon topics of discussion:

Failure to win a Rose Bowl since 1908
                                Failure to sign Owa
Failure to refrain from stealing computers

That is three tricks right there!
