If he comes back, SC is back in the mix for a title...or at least in the conversation, I should say. Also, he would immediately be a Heisman favorite, or, again, at least a serious consideration. His line, his receivers, his RB would all have more experience.

In short, it would be great for SC if he came back. But clearly his NFL stock is rising sharply. In fact, if he shows really well next week against fucla, don't be surprised if he gets an invite to NYC this season (not saying he would win, mind you, but Carson won in a 2 loss season and his win against Oregon in Eugene was the win that put everyone on notice).

If Barkley leaves, then time for Scroggins. Or Kessler. Or Wittek. Problem is that they are all very green. Jesse Scroggins would be SCs first real venture into the read option QB territory, as he can run, scramble, and pass....maybe a poor mans Masoli in his prime. Kessler and Wittek are traditional pro style QBs.
Think of the year he will have next year if he comes back. Lee is no longer a true freshman and Woods has to come back. That offense will be scary good.

If Barkley comes back SC will be the favorite to win the conf, that offense will be amazing. Lee might be more of a talent than Woods.

Lee is scary good. Those two might be the best wideout combo to play together in college when they are finished.

Marquise Lee went down to the wire, or pretty close to it, and it was between SC and the Zeros. Thank goodness he stayed home. Imagine if Mamba had stayed home, too. along those lines, imagine if Lee had decided to go to Eugene with Mamba

The Serra pipeline has been unreal as of late...Lee was in the same class as George Farmer. And guess who was on their team two years ago? Robert Woods. how did a team with those 3 not win southern section?

The crazy thing about Lee....Farmer was a 5 star WR, Lee was a 4 star ATH. Lee was rated one of the top few in the entire state...at DB. So in other words, technically, Lee might be an even better DB than he is a WR. Insane.

TJ Simers on the white uniforms....

Here's my concern with UCLA dressed in white from helmet to cleats.

If the look catches on and Bruins fans start dressing all in white, return to the Rose Bowl and do the wave, it will appear as if UCLA is waving the white towel.

Maybe that's why the Bruins switched to all white for this game, their way of announcing their surrender before it started.

It was already 22-0 with 12:48 remaining in the second quarter, and dressed as a high school team, UCLA was playing like one.

It's like the pistol offense — the white just doesn't fit UCLA unless it's the Bruins' intention to look like BYU.

Combs said he plans to get his family all wrapped in UCLA wear for the holidays.

“The whole family is going to get some gear and rep Bruin Nation gear all over,” he said.
Maybe he can buy them all Vegas Bowl t shirts.

I think he fell in love with the fact that his other offers came from Virginia, Illinois, Rutgers, and West Virginia. At UCLA he can live in his dads LA mansion and still attend school.
