I notice Lane is absent from those that impressed him..

But it is looking more and more like Tressel has dropped the ball on this one..

Yes, we are behind you in number of 1st round picks.

By one 1 believe.. Big Freaking deal...

The fact of the matter is it does not matter the number of players etc. But will the current coaches OL coach be able to help him progress to be a NFL player.. Both schools can do that. It only comes down to sunny skies or grey skies and sucky winters.. I hope he choses sucky winters..

When DDD plays the Heisman card, you need to play the Multiple Heisman card.

The bottom line is awesomeness and radness.

SC simply has more of both.

And on Wednesday, SC will also have Seantrel Henderson.

PS I wish there was a way that we could settle this SC/tOSU debate on the field! It is a shame that we will never know which school was better in recent years....

That actually hurts tOSU. They both have the same total number of Heismans trophies. tOSU produced fewer Heisman trophy winners, though.

Archie's second Heisman was a joke. Should have gone to Ricky Bell. Didn't Archie have something like 3 touchdowns in his second trophy year? It was pretty weak. his overall yardage wasn't even that good....1300 or thereabouts.

That was a low blow DDD....

FYI: I have always hated him even when he played for us..

Fact: Who was the leading rusher for the national title game?? The QB and in fact he did a good amount of running for us throughout the season. He was the glue and the leader on the field.

Clarett has talent that went wasted by his ego the size of Ohio...

It hurts total number of players who won the Heisman, but it helps tOSU in that only one school had a player who was the best player in college for two years. USC never had a player that good.

Ohio isn't a very big state.

I just checked. Archie scored four TDs in his second Heisman year. FOUR. lol.

He won it because of his 100-yard game streak (admittedly impressive) not because he was the best player.

you could argue that statistically, Archie's second heisman year is one of the worst all time for someone at his position. His total yard was around 1350, which, again, isn't amazing by any stretch.

Bell was hurt by SC ending with 4 losses, despite his stats.

How many TDs did Max Hall score this past season? It had to be at least a couple, I would guess. He should have been a Heisman finalist.
