Well, a few possibilities:

Foremost is that Seto was the DC last season. Kiff brought his father, Monte, to be the new DC. Even Pete Carroll, the person that promoted Rocky to DC last year, agreed with the hiring of Monte.

With Garza already on board to coach the DBs and Barry coming from Tampa Bay to coach the LBs, there just wasn't anyplace to put Seto.

My guess is that Pete will find something for Seto to do in Seattle.

He was well-liked by the fans and players, though.

Vainuka is only a 3 star what is SC doing!

He wanted to go to BYU but BYU did not have a spot for him nor did they think he would qualify.

He is actually a Seto recruit. Since they are thin at LB this year, they are probably taking a dip on this guy, esp since he has openly professed being obsessed with SC since he was a kid.

I know he tripped to Oregon State, as well. Is he Mo? I had no idea.

I'm curious in what the 4th and 6th place P10 teams did as well. That middle bunch is going to be fun to sort out next year, who is better Cal? ASU? USC? Battle royal!

Goes without saying, but this also puts a big wrinkle in the Tufts Jumbo's backfield next year. I think they were really counting on Seastrunk to have a change of heart at the last second.
