My parents plan their road games years in advance. They don't like these last-minute announcements.

Seriously, is there some sort of hotel shortage in Dallas that would require a 9 month booking cushion? Maybe her parents subscribe to the same philosophy as all BYU defensive coaches. More cushion is better.

As I typed that, in my mind I see Christopher Walken yelling, "Guys, that was ok cushion. A good 10 yards off the line on 3rd and 5. But what I really need is more cushion!"

My advice to them.......going to a venue that seats between 80K-100K, in a city that is not home to either team, in a non-conference game between a BCS team and a mid-major.........

buy tickets on the day of the game, about 30 minutes before kickoff.

Great link to the new stadium. Some pretty cool videos. Check out the "stadium fly through" video.

            http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/

Only two schools like BYU and OU could manage to properly cut the ribbon on this behemoth. I wouldn't be surprised if GameDay covered the game, simply for the pageantry of the new stadium.

My prediction: first TD pass thrown in that building will be thrown by Max Hall.

That is a pretty safe assumption, Max hall to the Oklahoma DB for 6.

Too bad we don't know anyone that lives in Dallas that might host a party for us all.

                    Another prediction:

Announced attendance will be between 55K and 60K.

I figure we crash his place unannounced, because if we ask first, he might turn us down.

Or maybe I'll work the Farrah angle. I think she wears the pants in that household, anyhow.

It's not a matter of whether there will be a shortage of hotel rooms, it's a matter of proving your commitment to the team. They want everybody to know that they're just that dedicated.

Let me be the one to ring the doorbell while you're all standing there and then say..."Hi, Mike I'm here with the rest of your entourage....oh and by the way, I'm Dave.....aka Rocky."

                            Commence shitting of pants.

Real classy Babs. Leave Mike and Farrah alone.
