Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Don't forget that we are also renewing the rivalry with Florida State.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostMe, too.
There's nothing greater than sitting here rapping about BYU's football rivalry with Oklahoma and the recent hoops game against Wake at the MARRIOTT CENTER.Get confident, stupid

How pissed are they going to be when they beat Florida tomorrow night and Utah still gets voted #1? Whew, the fireworks.Originally posted by YOhio View PostSome rivalry. Oklahoma has never beat us. I guess they may think this is a big deal, but let them win a game or two then we'll take it seriously.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

We remember that schooner playing a pivotal roll in our National Championship. Life-sized replicas have been placed in all of our temples.Originally posted by Babs View PostNobody would be stupid enough to do that. We've got a schooner and we're not afraid to use it.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

I thought those were reminders of the sacrafices made by our pioneer brothern. I guess I never really looked closely, but now I'll start praying to it.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostWe remember that schooner playing a pivotal roll in our National Championship. Yes, it certainly was a turning point. Momentum was lost and everything began tumbling down afterward.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostWe remember that schooner playing a pivotal roll
I remember this episode quite well, actually. I was almost eight then, and it was the first time I ever heard my mom use such passionate and creative language in addressing an officiating crew (though I must say it was not the last).
You'll be disappointed to hear the schooner no longer makes appearances in bowl games.

I'm sure my presence would have a more startling result.Originally posted by RockyBalboa View PostLet me be the one to ring the doorbell while you're all standing there and then say..."Hi, Mike I'm here with the rest of your entourage....oh and by the way, I'm Dave.....aka Rocky."

I once gave MW a t-shirt, he told me that he had a shirt of yours he was going to give to me and wanted me to take a picture wearing it and send it to you. That was maybe the last time he talked to me.Originally posted by RobinFinderson View PostI'm sure my presence would have a more startling result.Get confident, stupid
