Tha's what I was thinking, too, I was surprised. I was in 327 last week and really impressed.

Didnt you guys have similarl seats at the UW game? Great yardline position, but about 3 nautical miles from the field?

I don't like sitting so far away.
We actually got the Washington seats through Washington. They were far suprerior to the seats the CC club got. Yes, they were nose bleads, but they were good seats because the incline was so steep.

That's correct. They're great seats at club level and 40 yard line?!? I'm officially jealous.

Yea, I just asked my brother and he said they are row 13 and 14, so I suspect they aren't that high up in section 300.

That's exactly where I was. They're great. Did you see the link I posted above? If you still have any doubts, you can check the view from your seat from there.

Yes, I looked thanks. Now I hope when my brother looked he knows the difference between the 40 yard line and the 10 yard line.

                • For those renting cars, what kind of deals are you finding? I am seeing a bunch of stuff for between $20-25 a day. Seems like a good deal. Where did you find the best deal?

                  • USA Today's College Football Preview includes brief conference summaries, along with a table showing the number of career starts for each team's offensive linemen. Interestingly, BYU and Oklahoma are tied with 22, and each team is at the bottom of its conference in this statistical category (Colorado State and Texas are first with 118 (highest in D-1) and 89, respectively). The only schools in D-1 with fewer OL starting experience are Memphis (21), Army (19), Minnesota (18), Arkansas State (17), Oregon (16), and UCLA (8!).

                    • Folks, as expected a week out, the ticket picture is starting to take shape. I am noticing more tickets for sale online. Still high asking prices, but indicates good volume. All those unsold tickets need to be sold and will be at or near the stadium on game day.

I have come across some really nice seats (50 yard line about 30 rows up) for $100 each. I think many of the non-pros that purchased tickets to go are finding out that for whatever reason, one or two people have to flake out. So extras are starting to pop up within BYU circles.

I have a feeling I am going to see some $40 tickets for sale on game day, esp if you are willing to sit in the uppers.

I will bet you end up landing some really good seats at a great price. However, I am still happy because I know who I am sitting with. If I went scalping I might end up sitting next to some Oklahoma scalper with your personality. A combo I just couldn't last the game through.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your point. I know who I am sitting with. If I buy a pair of tickets, I am sitting with the person that buys the ticket with me. A friend, my brother, my FIL, etc.

I don't know who is sitting next to the group of seats I will wind up purchasing. Do you with regards to your tickets?

I take it 71 must be buffered by an awfully big group. He's going to sit right in the middle. That way he doesn't have to worry about rubbing elbows with any klaihoms.

Babs is right. We bought 18 on two rows. I will sit in the middle. I don't hear so well, so it won't matter who is 4 seats away on either side or 2 in back. Person in front could be a problem, but I will just accidently spill a drink on them if they bug me.

shouldn't be too hard to pull off. Your cupholder is on the back of his chair, and goshdarnit it sure would awfully easy to miss the holder when you're putting your drink down. OTOH that's kind of a crappy way to spend eight bucks.
