    That's really weak.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I am familiar with what Viking does for a living and those guys are wound tight. Pretty darn stressful jobs. Especially when they are short the market and it goes up 150.

I agree with Viking. You have said some very hurtful things about lawyers and I wish you'd stop.

I see what you're saying, but the classification of universities is much more complex than that. Google "Carnegie classification" and you'll see that there is a complicated system that does its best to compare universities based on student population, research activities, programs offered, institutional goals, etc. Search for BYU and see what schools are deemed similar to BYU. I think you'll be surprised/disappointed at the results.
I looked and found PAC10 schools Oregon St., AU, Arizona St. and UCLA.

I also found Ohio St., Depaul, SMU, Texas A&M, Colorado. Syracuse, Indiana and Michigan St.

If you want dissapointment, look up Washington St

I looked up USC and BYU was on the list of comparable schools.

I was expecting to find Bob Jones, but didn't.

Yes, I do. You just don't like that I'm a former dumb jock who sees right through your bullshit. It dampens your superiority complex because an idiot ball player who went to Marist isn't fooled by a bigot who went to law school at Georgetown.

Would you like me to provide yet another link to the definition of bigotry so you can read it for yourself?

                          • While we're on the topic of academic research in the football forum, I'd like to point out that while BYU may not do as much research as other schools it does do it. From my own department no less!
