That is so bad. Absolute bullshit move by the BCS selection committee.

I don't mind it, everyone seems to think that TCU beating Florida would have proved something. It didn't prove anything last year when Utah beat Alabama.

I think this makes a nice statement when BSU joins the MWC next summer.

How is it a nice statement? A nice statement would have been a TCU win AND a BSU win. The committee is now guaranteed a non AQ loss.

It is a lame matchup, but not for any reasons being stated here.

Those of you that harbor hope that the B12, B10, SEC, Pac, etc...will ever consider the mids to be equal need a reality check.

It doesn't matter if the SEC loses every year to a mid in the bowl game. They will always consider themselves superior. What are you hoping will happen?

I am annoyed because TCU/BSU is less interesting that Florida or some other team. These 2 teams already faced each other recently.

TCU and BSU should have played Florida and Cincy ... don't realy care which is which.

I guess I don't see it as the slap in the face that everyone does. The nice statement is that the MWC is a 2 bid league. 2 years from now nobody will care if an AQ school won or lost, just that they went.

Clearly Hawaii getting routed by Georgia didn't make it harder for BSU. Clearly Utah destroying Alabama didn't prove anything about the MWC to push TCU above Texas.

I think TCU/BSU will be one of the best games of the bowl season IMO, I'd rather watch a good game. Obviously the SUGAR didn't want a non-AQ again so TCU wouldn't have faced Florida anyway. So what is the better game TCU/BSU or TCU/Ga Tech?

No, they will care when it figures into the equation for auto bid. Instead of a possibility for 2 wins, it is a guaranteed one win.

Dear TCU, welcome to Utah's world. The BCS pussies are officially hiding from you.

The agument will be that the purpose of the BCS is to put #1 vs. #2 and then the rest of the games are old school bowl / selection kind of stuff.

I say that is BS. They should be putting the best teams together. No selection should take place. Take the 10 teams that are qualified. 1 vs. 2, 3 vs. 4, 5 vs. 6, etc.

And it was a great game. Why is that lame? I hope the Lakers don't play the Celtics in the finals again we have already seen that a lot of times to see it again would be lame.

Is BCS wins a factor in gaining an auto-bid? If that is true then yes this is a lame move.

The Lakers and Celtics have a history of competing for championships. TCU and BSU have on history other than a Poinsettia Bowl matchup.

I'd rather see TCU play Florida. Not because it will "prove" anything to the SEC. But because that is a matchup we don't get to see...particularly since the SEC is so loathe to schedule OOC teams like TCU and BSU.

The game itself will be a good game, I am sure. But then again, there can be any number of matchups that would produce "good games."

There aren't any factors. They're aren't even scheduled reviews. It's just whatever they want, for whatever reason. It's a very fiat kind of thing.

I think it's just a BS move because a non-AQ school has to lose and the two non-AQ schools have to face each other. If the BCS schools are so superior as to deserve auto bids, match these kids up with them and let 'em play.
