So what's it going to be, Triplet? Vegas on Dec 22, Frisco on Dec 26, or both?
Vegas for sure. That one is not a problem
The 26 will simply depend on the availability of flights. It is a horrible day for a bowl game, but not a bad day for flying since everyone is shopping.
The actual matchup isn't awful...BC is a decent team. But the whole prospect is very disappointing.
Playing the Utes in SD would have been way better....close drive, opponent has relevance on this board, etc.

I wonder if GP still feels the way he did about the BCS bowl system. That's horrible. So now we get essentially last year's Poinsettia Bowl all over again minus a few backs.
How many times has the Big East, Big 10, Pac 10, or ACC had 2 teams in the BCS in the same year?
You're saying this like TCU and BSU are in the same conference. We're looking at 8 teams from one half of D-1, and 2 teams from the other half.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

This is a chicken-poo move on the part of the bowls.
However, the anti-BCS movement took another huge hit today. First time that 2 busters are admitted to the party in the same year.
