I doubt the Minnesota's and Colorados or the world are demanding 2 for 1.

Is scheduling Colorado any better than nevada or tulsa?

BTW you could still schedule Northwestern or Iowa State and keep Boise or Tulsa. You only need to drop one of the OOC patsies from our schedule to get to three BCS teams. Like I said, I was not complaining about this year, but I still think we need to do better with scheduling especially since the MWC is so crappy outside of the top 3.

I honestly don't know why BYU fans are completely content with BYU's scheduling.
Not content, but I would get just as excited playing a above .500 Tulsa or Nevada than a 2-10 or 3-9 colorado.

USU is a scheduling convencience that removes the Annual General Conference Conflict, nothing more. Bronco or Holmoe might dress it up nicely as some continuation of a rivalry, but that's all PR nonsense. Since BYU can't ensure they get a bye week or a Thursday game to coincide with GC, they went back to USU as a willing partner.

Would love to continue this, but I am leaving for Mesquite. Just assume I don't agree with Indy.

Hasn't BYU played sports during a Saturday session of GC before? I seem to remember it, but maybe I am smoking crack.

So a team like Tulsa would flat out say no to a Friday game? I have a hard time believing that.

Probably. I'm not saying their attitude towards GC/football conflicts has always been the same, I'm just pointing out the current motivation for the USU scheduling.

They've played after the last Saturday session, usually with SDSU or Hawaii (long ago) because of the time zone.

Still chuckling. It's unfortunate that years of inactivity/apostasy likely result in SU's inability to pick up on hymnbook humor (not a knock on SU--I doubt I'd remember lines from O Say What is Truth or If You Could Hie to Kolob). On the other hand, if the references are not lost on him, it augurs well for his imminent return to full fellowship.
