Is she hot. If everyone is going to make up, I may take a day off from the board, unless she's hot.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostMoved upon by the sincerity of Max's contrition, I'm going to remove my victor's avatar tomorrow and return to honoring a birthday celebrant and, extending the hand of fellowship to Fiyero (what else would the hand be used for?), tomorrow's birthday honoree happens to be Elisha Cuthbert.

Are you sure you didn't click on the CUF posts regarding KW's wife? Those phrases look awfully familiar.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI just went over to UF.N to see how they were receiving Maxs apology.
He is still a liar.
He is full of shti none of that happened to his family.
The story keeps growing by the day
They do not accept
He sucks
I think Max is officially the best troll in internet history.

I think that was a nice gesture. I don't really think he owes anyone associated with Utah an apology though. The real apology is owed in relation to this:
If I were him, that is the part I would feel bad about. I don't blame a guy for having defensive feelings about his family and using it to motivate him. But unfortunately he rung a bell with those comments that he can't un-ring in the short term. My guess it that this is what is eating him today. The talk today ought to be about BYU's best win of the year, which it really is, and the exciting game that it was. It really was a great rivalry game.I'm also sorry if my comments took anything away from my teammates and coaches and our victory Saturday.

eHe might be a liar. I find his story about what happened to his family last year more than a little far fetched. I'm just wondering. Corroboration? I'm sure they were so heart sick at his horrific performance last year it's all a blur to them. So they're not wondering, "Why is Max lying? That didn't happen to us." Anyway, I'm guessing self-delusion is a life long discipline with them.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI just went over to UF.N to see how they were receiving Maxs apology.

They probably felt spat upon and beer poured upon because of the way things went on the field, but whether it really happened, I have my doubts. Let me say right now that I suspect that tales of boorish Ute fan behavior is the great myth at the heart of the rivalry. Sort of like the way Tawana Brawley seized upon a stereotype about young urban black males.
Absent corroboratioin, here's the first question a lawyer would ask: Did they go to the press or the police at the time? Did Max say anything to anyone about this before yesterday? If not, then I doubt the story is true. I'm just wondering. Another clue is that Max "I hate everything" Hall is as of today an admitted liar in some respects--not a man who means everything he says.
Someone should take up the challenge and investigate this, like they did Paul H. Dunn's stories. Maybe for starters Junkie, who seems to know everything about BYU, could answer my questions. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

They did go to the police actually. In fact they called 911 from their seats and had a police escort as they left the stadium. Nice try though.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Poste

This isn't about Max hurting Utah. He has only hurt himself and his coach. If anything, he has made Utah look good by comaprison. This is only about Max's character. Right now people who care about him should be helping him try to rehabilitate it.Originally posted by UtahDan View PostI think that was a nice gesture.
