Max 'The Bastard' Hall

No INT's and the winning TD. I call it a great game.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI wonder why Hall played such a bad game. 12-32 for 134 yards. It has to be one of the worst lines I've seen in a long time. But not as bad as 5 interceptions I suppose. Had he not connected on that last pass he'd have been a real goat, maybe the Rivalry's all-time goat. I'd be tempted to credit the Utah secondary, but it seems Max was not in a healthy mental state.

Speaking of someone who hates everyone and everything...Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostHe has not redeemed himself with this very famous BYU fan; he still hates Max Hall.

Max faces Utah only once a year and has been at RES only twice in four years. However because the two rivals are so close in proximity, every time any high profile, recognizable player goes anywhere in public off of campus they probably get flack. Can't merely take a girl to the movies without hearing a bunch of talk. Max is not the only person who is sick to death of the other's fan base, but it's unfortunate that he didn't keep his cool like everyone else.

I have not drunk anything, you provincial little colly wolly. But I know some BYU fans here and I hunted them down and threw beer on them.Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostI don't care. I love him with all my heart.
How much have you had to drink tonight? When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

His anguish isn't about any flack he's taken. It's about the five interceptions he threw and Utah's 13-0 season last year, and the fact that since he's been at BYU four or five non-BCS programs will have gone to BCS bowls and done well except one, and BYU isn't one of them. Also, that crappy bowl he's going to will probably be his last game ever.Originally posted by Fiyero View PostMax faces Utah only once a year and has been at RES only twice in four years. And yet he has heard 60,000 fans cheering for him, something you and I will never experience. He will be just fine.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostHis anguish isn't about any flack he's taken. Seriously, SU...you need to stop. He's just closing on one of the more successful careers at a school with a very storied history in QBs. I doubt he's bitter. Someone is coming across as bitter though...At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I don't care about how many games he's won. I'd rather have Brian Johnson's career. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
