That's funny, isn't it? Don't hold your breath.

Right especially since the Ute jokers are much older and should know better. Still can't believe he got self-righteous about a college student using the word sissy.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

            • I was looking at the local high school governing board and saw some scores go by for some games. One helmet looked awfully familiar.

              Go Yosemite Badgers!

Just saw this. I hope the BYU doesn't go after them. Every "Y" team should want that awesome logo.

I think BYU would come off pretty badly in the press if they did that. A lot, maybe a majority, use a college logo or a variation of it. When I was at Brighton they used the Clemson paw, my kids HS uses the Michigan St S and the Norte Dame Leprechaun as example.

We had the SMU mustang on our HS helmets. I've seen plenty of High Schools on TV with the Michigan helmet design.

                        • I went to Pleasant Grove High School.

We apparently borrowed the Minnesota Viking logo.

                          minnesota_vikings_1961-1965.jpg

Karl Hubenthal who was a sports cartoonist for the Los Angeles Times, did the original drawing of the Viking logo in 1961 for Bert Rose, then the General Manager of the Minnesota Vikings, who had contacted him. The logo itself depicts the fierce warrior from Scandinavia, what is now Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The people of the era and who lived there referred to the warriors as Norsemen, or Northmen.
