I went to Pleasant Grove High School.

Don't know how I missed this. 4 of the 5 kids went to PG High. The baseball playing grandson goes to PG. I liked and still do like Pleasant Grove.

I think BYU would come off pretty badly in the press if they did that. A lot, maybe a majority, use a college logo or a variation of it. When I was at Brighton they used the Clemson paw, my kids HS uses the Michigan St S and the Norte Dame Leprechaun as example.

Bountiful High's football team used a bad copy of the U's drum and feather on their helmets this year. But with a "B" in it instead of the U. I thought it was pretty lame from the beginning. My wife asked for an electronic copy of it for something she was putting together for the team. School admin told us no. They said that the U was pretty upset with them for having used it in the first place. It wouldn't be back next year, and they didn't want it showing up anywhere else.

You might be confusing my time at BYU. I changed my major so many times I think they almost just gave me a general degree or something.

Very strong tradition in wrestling there. We took state when I graduate in 86.
