I didn't know you grew up in Boston. Cool stuff.

I wanted KVN to get a ring, and was therefore pulling for the Patriots. When the Falcons scored their third TD, I figured it wasn't meant to be. Very impressive comeback. Atlanta seemed to really tighten up. Their protection of Ryan crumbled and Brady was nails as his protection started holding up.

That was an incredible game and I'm happy for you, but this seems super whiny and a bit unfair. I haven't noticed that this board is any harder on Pats fans than any other bandwagoners.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostAlright. I've said my peace. Being a semi-serious Pats fan isn't the best way to get liked around here, so I'll leave it at that. I just hope everyone appreciated watching greatness.

All in good fun. But you got me thinking; I've been around here for almost 6 years. I kept watching for Van Noy, notice his half a sack and saw him around the ball. At least he got a ring.
I continued to wonder if Brady would remain inaccurate for an entire game. When the kicker missed the extra point, I just thought it would be too much to overcome. Once the Pats started rolling, you could see the steam draining from the Falcons' defensive players.
Does anybody believe the offensive calling in the second half for the Birds allowed the Pats to get back into the game?Last edited by Topper; 02-06-2017, 09:50 AM."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

If during a drive there isn't an errant pass, dropped pass, missed block or fumble and still the team doesn't get a touchdown, it was bad play calling.

Crazy game to watch. I'm curious as to how many chickens or goats Belichick sacrificed during half-time. Apparently, just enough!
Never been a Tom Brady fan. But I heard him in an interview last week that helped me not dislike him quite so much.
The interviewer was talking about how long Brady and Belichick had been in New England together, and then talked about how common it is with some NFL teams for there to be issues between the head coach and the star player. He then asked Brady if he'd ever had issues with Belichick, or how they had resolved them.
Brady said that it's pretty simple: He is the player. Belichick is the coach. As long as they remember their roles and do their jobs, there won't be any problems. I liked the fact that he understood his role and didn't feel the need to take credit or an over-active role in calling plays, game-planning, or second guessing the coach. Just do his job.
