That was probably the worst Super Bowl in 51 years.

All the kissing of the Lombardi Trophy like that? So gross -- all those germs.

Roger Goodell getting booed by Pats fans pissed about Brady's suspension -- pretty funny.

Well, it's the patriots, so they've probably built an immunity to them by now.

Yeah you have to admire what Brady and the Pats offense did but Atlanta totally gave it away. They were in FG range to make it an 11 point game, just had to hand it off a couple of times and kick a FG and the game is over. What a horrible horrible collapse and gutpunch loss for Atlanta.

You have to have a few things like that happen in order to have a come back like that.

Yeah, that is crazy. They were on the 20!! They run the ball, there is no sack and then holding. If you're a die-hard ATL fan, you never get over that - ever.

That was a fun game to watch. Great theater. I can't stand NE, but found myself memorized by the inevitability of it all, once NE was driving for the tie. It was good football.

Yeah, they pissed away a 25 point lead. I am happy for KVN, however.

Wow. Wow. Double-U Oh Freaking wow.

I must confess, at 14-0 I just knew that the Pats weren't coming back. Out of all the SB teams, I didn't think this would have been the one to be able to crawl out of that hole. The 2007 one, maybe, but that's because they had Atlanta-esque receivers back then. They've always struggled in the super bowl, eeking out wins and barely losing close ones. But not this team. Just not enough firepower. And then everyone else sunk down with me when it was 28-3. Except for Mrs. NWC. She still held out hope, and she'll probably hold that over me for awhile. Even after the touchdown that made it 28-20, there was just too much with too little time. Another touchdown with 5 minutes left, a two-point conversion, and hold Atlanta scoreless to boot? No way.

But then of course Atlanta's D was gassed after being on the field for so long, and the offense couldn't even get a field goal that most certainly would have won the game. And then of course, that catch. In a matter of seconds, and certainly after the coin toss for overtime, everyone just felt it. The Pats were going to win. What a remarkable game. Even our diehard Browns fans who watched it with us got over their Pats jealousy/hate and enjoyed the best super bowl game ever. And after SB 49??? That's saying something.

I do think Brady deserved the game MVP. You could argue that James White deserved it also. 14 catches and 3 TDs. He was amazing. But Brady was phenomenal after the first half. There is no question (as if there was one after this year), that he is the greatest QB of all time. Even after the so-called scandals

Alright. I've said my peace. Being a semi-serious Pats fan isn't the best way to get liked around here, so I'll leave it at that. I just hope everyone appreciated watching greatness.
