To be fair, Stephenson got absolutely abused by Love last night.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

What about David Fizdale's comments after the Grizzlies' loss last night?

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I don't think that is fair. Stephenson should have guarding Kyrie and a George on Love instead of the other way around. It wasn't like Stephenson wasn't trying. Curious coaching decision for a couple of defensive trips. It didn't work and Stephenson was frustrated that it didn't work. For George to call him out afterwards to the media shows exactly the kind of teammate George truly is. You Laker fans are going to love him next year.

I understand why Draymond Green is loathed by most opposing fans (I'd probably hate him, too). But I love the guy, and think he's the Warriors' MVP. The Warriors can get along just fine without any one of KD, Curry or Klay (although I'd prefer not to), but without Green they'd suffer an irreplaceable drop in defense. He's the biggest motivator on the team and is the glue behind the team's cohesiveness. He takes the blame (probably correctly) for last year's meltdown in the final series. Yeah, he's over-the-top in his gyrations, braying and trash talk, but even the trash talk is pretty funny, and he takes as good as he gives. In an interview following Game 1 he said he loved CJ McCollum's comment after Draymond came up a bit short on what was supposed to be an explosive slam. CJ said, "Man, you've gotta start doing more calf raises..." If Draymond can control himself (he's slowly getting better at that) and stay healthy, the Warriors are pretty much unbeatable, a refreshing change after essentially 3+ decades of futility.

BTW, it's interesting to hear the Warriors announcers, who are very good, talk about the other teams. With the possible exception of the Spurs, I think they regard the Jazz with greater respect--including coaching, talent and future--than any other team. I hope (and expect) the Jazz will advance, in part because the Jazz are actually competitive with the Ws.

Sorry PAC, I quit reading after "But I love the guy".
                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

You should have endured to the end where I threw a few crumbs at the Jazz. If lovin' DG is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

He's right. The officiating was terrible in that game.

he should have called out the guy who shot 10-28 FGs.

This series does not look good for them.
