Maybe even more than 2 weeks. If anything it forces Curry to sit and rest the ankle as well but with him healthy the whole team would be resting right now since they wouldn't have lost game 3.Originally posted by Maximus View Posthow lucky is the team that lost the mvp to injury for 2 weeks?
If Curry doesn't make it back for the SA series, they are toast. SA will beat them in 5 or fewer games."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

they arent damn lucky. they lose their mvp. that isnt lucky. maybe, given they lost their mvp, they are lucky another team lost a player, but still they are the ones who lost the best player.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostIf he is back for the WCF they are damn lucky. If they can't beat Portland or a depleted Clippers team without him, they weren't beating the Spurs/OKC anyways.

The other team lost its two best players. Talk to me if the Warriors lose Draymond as well.Originally posted by Maximus View Postthey arent damn lucky. they lose their mvp. that isnt lucky. maybe, given they lost their mvp, they are lucky another team lost a player, but still they are the ones who lost the best player.*Banned*

I don't understand why Steph was even playing again in this Rockets series. They can beat Houston without him, so when he was already hurt give him the 3 weeks of rest that the NBA stretches the first round out over. Steve Kerr ruining historical seasons like he used to ruin TNT broadcasts, truly an awful person.Get confident, stupid

You're right. Houston is an awful team. GSW would have won the series even without Curry in any of the games. But I think his quick return shows just how much emotionally they rely on Curry. It will be interesting to see how they play mentally for the next two weeks.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI don't understand why Steph was even playing again in this Rockets series. It's not unlucky when you lose the team's best player who historically has been injury prone: it's inevitable.Originally posted by Maximus View Postthey arent damn lucky. they lose their mvp. that isnt lucky. maybe, given they lost their mvp, they are lucky another team lost a player, but still they are the ones who lost the best player.

Warriors are damn lucky. Guys get hurt. But when the other team's two best guys get hurt at the same time your guy gets hurt just in time for your series, that is lucky.
Last year Kyrie and Love were out against a healthy GSW team. That is unlucky for the Cavs.
Lucky would have been Kyrie and Love out, but GSW has Curry, Thompson and Iguodala out - that's GSW this playoffs.I'm like LeBron James.

I don't think GS is going to miss Curry much this series. Yikes."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. I remember thinking a month or so ago that Popovich must be thrilled to be that good and not have to deal with much press attention due to the large shadow the Warriors cast.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostThis Spurs team is historically good and totally under-appreciated because of what GSW did this year."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

like they didn't miss him much against Houston. as great as Curry is, the best player in the league without question, I don't think he is the most valuable player in the league.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostI don't think GS is going to miss Curry much this series.
