The problem is Howard has no post game. In fact, watching him man up Bynum or Gasol on defense, he's okay. He's a great help defender which is where 75% of his blocks come from I'd say.

I remarked to my dad last night when Bynum feinted left, right, and then turned back to the left for the soft baby hook with his right that Howard can only dream of doing that.

The Magic need to fire Patrick Ewing. He either isn't doing his job or his pupil isn't listening.

All I know is that cheesy grin is gone. And that makes me smile.

The Arenas bit is interesting. I haven't heard that here in Wizards land. I don't do it if I'm the Lakers. Rumors like these will abound though I am sure. Players want to win rings. And I think they're seeing LA as the best opportunity for them to do that.

I'd still like to keep Brown and Farmar. Brown is big enough to play the 2 and give Kobe some rest but versatile enough to handle the point too. I look for Farmar to eventually replace Fisher when he retires. Fisher really needs to come off the bench. I think he'd be more valuable with the 2nd unit anyway, especially since his shot will come around. He's not going to be in this slump forever.

      Sasha, goodbye.
I'd love to see Morrison get more looks next season....he can't possibly shoot any worse than Sasha; either one's defense is a push. I hope Brown figures into their plans; I agree Fish should come off the bench next season. Signing both Odom & Ariza should be the priority. I will stop watching the NBA if agent 0 ever suits up in Purple & Gold.

        Pure assholery.

Your team is going to win this series. You're really finding joy in the fact that Howard isn't as happy as he usually is?

        Damn, you're cold.

As the Jazz decided to be terrible this year and underachieve like me in my freshman year of college, the best way for me to find fulfillment in this year's playoffs is the Lakers failing to win it all.

Fortunately for Lee, ESPN seems to have already forgotten about his blown shot. I haven't seen that clipped played on SC in at least the last 30 seconds.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The Lakers are too smart to sign a guy like agent 0. During my rants against the likes of McGrady, Marbury, Francis and AI, I forgot about Arenas. I wonder which one between McGrady and Arenas will be the last vestige of a thankfully bygone era where these types of players were actually sought after.

It looks like Odom has been laying off the sugar, he's looked great in this series.

BTW, I don't know if this series is over yet. I can see Orlando winning a couple games in a row. They proved to be pretty resilient against Boston.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                It works like this:

Disclaimer: yes, Simmons hates LA and Kobe as much as I do, no I do not take his interpretation of what was a foul and what wasn't as gospel. This is just an example of how you determine whether a game was called fairly or not; merely looking at the foul totals doesn't work.

                  Q&A of the day

Question: Is Kobe hoping to continue his personal "Destroy all Blue Devils" tour (Carlos Boozer, Shane Battier, Dahntay Jones) by annihilating J.J. Redick? Is this some kind of message to Coach K?

                    Kobe continues to whore around:

DIRTY ARMY, I need as much intel as possible on Carla DiBello. She sits court-side at the Laker games and travels to all the road games… the weird thing is Kobe Bryant flips the bill and buys her presents.

Okay, maybe not so weird… I know she is banging him out. DA do work!

**Update from within Laker camp: Nik, get this. Friends and family are not allowed to go to Orlando for the series, but Kobe got special approval from both Phil Jackson and Dr. Buss to let Carla DiBello come. They have been seeing each other ever since Kobe got back from China.
