Ha. Do you have to ask?

Viking is showing up just now because he was probably out last night celebrating Man U's big win over Chelsea yesterday. Most people don't know this but he is a big Red Devils fan.

Never really caught onto the Rangers. Always felt like they were more from Fort Worth than Dallas. In the "old" days, Arlington felt really far away vs. getting on Central Expwy and getting to Reun Arena or getting to Irving.

Reggie was my favorite ball player, so easy to love the Yankees

So why aren't you an A's fan?

So a 4-0 sweep of the defending champs + lack of flexing, acting tough, and hiding behind 140 lb refs like NBA players do so well after a hard foul = soft?

              Weird.

                Pretty much.

The 4-0 sweep of the defending champ isn't without precedent. IIRC, the Bad Boys got swept as did the Rockets after their back to back titles. Threepeats are tough to come by.

Bad Boys also swept the Lakers to win their first. Of course Magic and Scott were injured during that series. Thanks Riley! Two a days before the finals. Great idea.

Also, both those series effectively ended the runs of the Bad Boys and the Rockets.

                        Screw you, Microwave!

Check out that old footage of the Fabulous Fo. Those locker rooms are such a throwback compared to what the players have today. The visiting locker room was basically a large janitorial closet with nothing on the walls. The Lakers locker room had that rad wood paneling.

Kidd makes some sort of half assed attempt but his ire is directed at the officials and not Drew. I don't get it. Not a single player got in Bynum's grill. That's pathetic.
Except Dirk did get in Bynum's face. And several players ran to Barea to help him out. Mavs are smart. They knew the Lakers were starting to pull this crap so they didn't over-react.

Is this some sort of prognostication for the Lakers? LOL.
