Wear that to Lesner/Carwin and your drink is on me.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Gameday. The Lakers should replace one of the seats on the Celtics' bench with a wheelchair.
Scary game. This is the one for the Celtics to steal. The Lakers need to defend home court.
That would be hilarious if they had a wheelchair at the end of the bench with his #34 on it. Maybe hand out some towels to everybody sitting behind both baskets with Ainge's face on them to throw when the Celtics shoot free throws...or just to throw in Ainge's face a la Big Shot Rob in Phoenix.
I think LA will come out fired up tonight and win by a decent final margin. I worry more about Sunday games (game 2) as it feels like the Lakers reguarly shit the bed in Sunday home games where the crowd seems totally out of it.

How funny would that be? As soon as Pierce goes down and stays down for an extended period of time (not an if, but when) the ballboy should rush out onto the floor with a wheelchair. That crowd would go nuts.

Sunday letdowns are typical of the Lakers (I think it's the white jerseys) but the difference is they have been money at home and they're going to have to an extra day's rest going into it. That makes me think the ics' best shot is tonight.
I really think that Artest shines this series and shuts Pierce down like he did Durant. Pierce may have a game or two where he gets it going. But it won't be like '08. Especially if Ron-ron's defense on him during the regular season holds true.
Well, about what I expected tonight. I expect Sunday to be a much tougher game. I loved the way Artest played tonight...Pierce was a non-factor until it was way too late and TruWarrior knocked down his 3s. LO was the only Laker who played a bad game but he was getting quick whistles from the get go. Funny to see Boston whine about so many calls with all the phantom calls they get themselves. Pau v. KG is a total mismatch in 2010.
