Thank you for keeping Funk up to date on the A's. With all the time he is spending with his family he hasn't been able to check the standings lately.

1 game worse over the last 10 games than the Tigers. That extra 79 million per year in salary doesn't buy all that much does it?

Please point me to a Tigers post of mine where I ask how long their April hot streak against the dregs of the AL is going to last.

It bought them enough to knock the A's out of the playoffs the last two years.

They should be embarrassed that they needed 5 games both times to win the series. The Tigers were spending more on 3 players than the A's spent on their entire roster. It is pretty bad that they get so little out of how much the spend.

What are you talking about? The plumbing at Comerica is fantastic.

Tigers are 18-9, hottest team in the AL right now. And their stadium has good plumbing. And if it didn't, they could move if they wanted to.

Giants and Rockies also surging in the NL. Braves faltering.

Giants are winners of 10 of the past 11. But they have good plumbing and a top 10 payroll so really it doesn't matter.

Why do we care anyways? Baseball playoffs are all about luck.

I'm glad you have finally realized the truth about the baseball playoffs.

A's back to playing great baseball. 9-1 in their last 10. Yes, they have not played the toughest schedule through the first 1/4 of the season, but they have been destroying the teams they have played. Run differential is now at +98. The next best run differential in the AL is the Tigers at +49.

The series with Detroit next week will be interesting. Despite the A's run differential, I do think those assholes in Detroit are the best team in the AL.

Sox have lost 8 straight. The AL east is almost upside down from what most people thought it would be.

I need to find another bandwagon...

M's are one game over .500 and you already live in the NW!

Gotta try and talk you back off the ledge. The Red Sox ended their 10 game losing streak yesterday. The time to switch allegiances should have been during the 2012 season under Bobby V. after the crash-and-burn end to the 2011 season. So the Sox are having a tough month... That's never gonna happen to the M's.
