Im not playing FF this year for the first time since 2001. I feel mostly liberated, but also just a tad vacant.

That aside, my three worst fantasy "bad beats" all came on Monday nights (maybe one was a Sunday night):

    1) Playing against my bro. He needs something insane like 28 points from Santana Moss (vs the cowboys I think). Late in the 4th and Moss has all but been shut out. Then Brunell hits him on a slant for 80 yards to send the game to OT. In OT Brunell hits him for a bomb and the game winning TD. Game over. I lose by a fraction.

    2) I need two points from Larry Fitz on Monday night. Larry Fitz with Kurt Warner throwing him the ball, you know, back when he was a top 2-3 fantasy WR. He gets 1.5. I lose by a fraction.

    3) I am up by a point heading into Monday with Tiki Barber left to play. Opponent has nobody playing. The win is mine. But I'm on the cusp of missing the playoffs and total points is a tiebreaker. So I play Tiki. He fumbles on his first or second carry, loses 5 yards and the ball. And he gets injured and doesn't return. I lose by a fraction.

On second thought, I don't even feel a tad vacant.

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

      Wow those are brutal losses.

I have contemplated not playing every year and I always get sucked in. I hate refreshing my phone all day Sunday. I think I will take next year off and just enjoy the games.

            Lol.

I am okay with the loss. Just need to get in the playoffs.

Losing when a bunch of my good players are on BYE is expected.

When Rice went down, I knew it was over.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

We may be like the eastern conference in the NBA, with several sub .500 teams in the playoff mix.

I played a guy that had 6 byes and 1 out in his starting lineup. His bench was just as bad. He had to pull a bunch of crap off the wire to field a team. And.... he is going to beat me (and I even have a pretty good score!).

In one of my leagues same thing happened. He picked up Mike James last week. Cotchery, Foles, and Dobson this week.

JIC has scored 122, has two guys left and is down 60. Wild week.

He does, however have Andre Johnson.

Yeah, if Andre Johnson throws down another 40 point half, I could be in some trouble.

So I basically need 50 points between Boykins and Bennett tomorrow night. Should be a piece of cake.

Which RB do I bench this week? Adrian Peterson, Zac Stacy, Knowshon Moreno, or Eddie Lacy?

It seems like Moreno is the right pick, but he has probably been my most consistent player (besides Prater) all season. My next pick would be Stacy, who is going up against a tough Colts defense ... but he is really hot right now.
