  • I dropped Niners D and picked up Bengals off waivers. I feel good about it. Also picked up Bilal Powell this week. Debating starting him over Doug Martin. Martin just can't get in the end zone this year. I know the minute I bench him he'll score 20+ fantasy points ... so I'll keep him where he is for now.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Lucky really. Hadley out. Pryor out. A third of my fantasy team out.

DNF: I am traveling today and don't have much access to internet. Will review tomorrow if that is ok.

                  • roster:

                    alshon jeffery vs. nyg
                    hakeem nicks vs. chicago
                    randall cobb vs. baltimore
                    greg jennings vs. carolina
                    brandon bolden v. no

i'll definitely start jeffery and cobb, but i have a w/r spot. leaning towards nicks, but what would you do?

                    • Your remaining options are not real exciting. The irritating thing about Eli this year is that he's really locked in on Cruz and has essentially ignored Nicks for much of the year. That said, I feel like Nicks is capable of a breakout game at any point. For me it comes down to Nicks and Jennings. Jennings is another one that you wonder why his production is poor, but I'd value those two about the same. Carolina has the stingier pass defense by far over Chicago. I think you go with Nicks because he has a better QB than whoever is going to toss the rock this week in Minny. Chances are the Giants will be losing as well, so they'll be passing in the second half.

                          • My league's draft went so long (280 players deep), I'm stuck choosing between Case Keenum and Thaddeus Lewis as my second QB this week.

Literally every non-injured QB on the waiver wire has scored 1 or fewer fantasy points this season.

                            • I hate leagues with 2 QBs. That's too big.

I'd gamble with Thad Lewis. I don't think Keenum is a good prospect making his first start.

He played great for me last week, but that ankle injury worries me.
