    T minus 30 min...let's do this!
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Had our draft Sunday, here is mine team

      QB-Russell Wilson, Carson Palmer
RB-Jamaal Charles, Rashard Mendenhall, Jonathan Dwyer, Benjarvus Green-Ellis, Joique Bell, Roy Helu, Christine Michael
WR-Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, Vincent Jackson, Tavon Austin, Kenbrell Thompkins
      TE-Jared Cook
      K-Stephen Gostkowski
      Def-Pittsburgh

I am pretty happy with my team. Thin/weak at running back (lot of handcuffs, could be good if some starters get hurt), but my receivers are nails. Will come down to how Russell Wilson's 2nd year goes.

        Here are my draft/auction results:

        QB: Flacco/Newton
RB: Adrian Peterson, Doug Martin, Eddie Lacy, Kenjon Barner, Knowshon Moreno
WR: Randall Cobb, Wes Welker, Chris Givens, Alshon Jeffery
        TE: Tony Gonzalez
        D/ST: 49ers
        K: Prater

Not sure how I feel about it. Could be great. Could be terrible. I went after RBs, which I am happy with, but less confident about the other positions.

It\'s that time of year again. If you want to join the suicide league let me or my brother know. Here is the information you need. The league ID is 1556 and the password is picksix. The league name is eliminator. I\'m going to get a pay pal account setup so you can pay that way or you can still pay me or my brother. Whichever works best. Let me know if you have any questions.

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

My backs are now even more depleted. I need some help.
                      My team:
                      QB: Manning, Kaepernick
RB: AP, Ballard, Woodhead (shut up)
WR: Cobb, R Wayne, K Thompkins, M Austin
                      TE: Graham
                      K: Hauschka
                      DEF: SF

I'm thinking I want to unload a QB to shore up RB's. One potential trade partner:
                      QB: Newton, E Manning
RB: Lynch, T Richardson, G Bernard, A Brown
WR: Decker, Garcon, Fitzgerald, Mike Williams
                      TE: F Davis

I was thinking offering P Manning for Lynch or Richardson, but I'm not sure if she'll bite. Any other ideas if she says no? Maybe thrown in a TE trade?

Yeah, that's a dicey RB situation. The problem here is that you are gonna have a tough time targeting a top 10 back for Peyton Manning. I'd maybe look at the person who had a David Wilson or a Reggie Bush (especially if it is a PPR league), maybe a Gore, MJD etc...would be a more likely target than T-Rich or Lynch.

I have Fred Davis in a couple of leagues and I've backed him up with Zach Sudfeld, because I think he could have good value until Gronk comes back (which, might only be a few weeks).
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Is Manning + Graham too much to give up for Davis + Lynch/Richardson? I don't think she'll take the original offer, but she didn't tell me where to go when I just texted her--she said she'd look at things when she got a second. So I think she could be interested if I sweeten the pot a little.

Well, it certainly makes things more interesting. I think Graham is a little too much to give up...I mean, you drafted him early to gain a match up advantage over other RBs available there, so I wouldn't jettison him just yet. Keep in mind too that RB is fluid on a lot of teams, so you can play the waiver game and try to add some value there. Are there any RBs sitting out there right now of note?

I think you'd be even better off to target a guy like DeAngelo Williams or Ryan Matthews, who you wouldn't have to sell the farm to get...maybe your WR2 or 3 for one of those guys.

Just throwing some ideas out there.
