  • Rumors of Sacramento wanting Josh Smith. Detroit would get Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams. IOW, one of the biggest wins in trade history for Detroit just one year after they sabotaged their own future by giving that contract to Smith.

Sacramento would have Cousins, Gay, and Josh Smith. With Stein speculating that maybe that move would be the precursor to them offering the #8 as the focus of a deal to get Smith's friend, Rajon Rondo. Would anyone ever be happy in that locker room?

Hard to believe any team would want Josh Smith.

Made it sound like they want Rondo, and they want Rondo to not be a total drain on the team, so they'd get Smith to keep Rondo happy. That's a lot of money to pay to babysit a PG that can't shoot.

That team would rival Jailblazers era for most dysfunctional locker room. I'm 100% on board with Sacramento making this move.

          • The Nets apparently lost $144M last year.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

            • Kidd to Milwaukee seems so wrong. The more I hear about Kidd, the more I dislike him. I hope Larry Drew gets paid for warming the seat.

I don't care so much about him stealing Larry Drew's job. The wife beating and drunk driving were enough to convince me he was a jerk.

                • Meeks - 3 yrs, $19 M

                  CJ Miles - 4 yrs, $18 M

Indiana got a better deal than Detroit.

                    • So bosh wants $90mm and his agent said to forget any talk about wade and bosh both taking 11-12 per year to facilitate more Big 3. If Bosh is being serious, that is the end of the Big 3. only LBJ deserves a max deal and if Bosh is about the cash, he should take his lack of talents to some basement dweller and go back to his Toronto strategy: get paid and be the best player on a crappy team.

Dwyane wade should take whatever multi year he can get with MIA and run with it the two blocks his injured body will last before it breaks down, his other option is to wait for Jim Buss and Mitch to offer him a max deal.

Are you saying friendship isn't worth 10 million per year?

I have no clue why Wade opted out. He left $42M on the table. That is absolutely bonkers.

He wants LeBron back. Still seems crazy, but I'm pretty sure that was the motivation.

Is his shoe deal, or future shoe deal, worth a lot more if he's playing for the Heat with Lebron? Enough to make up $20m? Could be. Might not be leaving money on the table at all.

                                future shoe deal??

wear my shoe and you can have the same chronic knee injuries that have halted my career....
