The Zards are apparently down to him and Otto Porter...for the love of all that is holy, please pick Otto Porter."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Err...what? Maybe he has an out if he gets selected tomorrow night? And of course he will, so maybe he just doesn't intend to come over?Lucas Nogueira reached an agreement with Spanish club Estudiantes on a contract extension beyond 2014. EncestandoSo Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Always has been for me. I'm not as into it as I once was, but I'm still probably in the top 99.9% of the general sports fan population in terms of my interest in it.Originally posted by clackamascoug View PostI don't know why, but the NBA draft is one of my favorite days of the year. I DVR the local perspective, and the national perspective and end up watching both.I'm like LeBron James.

Don't ever worry about inviting me over. I'm usually pretty busy before and after the draft anyway.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostOne of my major sport holidays. I'm leaving the office early. Pork shoulder has been smoking at home today. BBQ pork nachos + other goods on the menu for the night. Love draft night, and expecting tonight to be very entertaining.
Jerk.I'm like LeBron James.

The reports earlier that they were offering their two picks and Perkins were absurd. Perkins is an anchor on a deal, not a helper. Two picks + Reggie Jackson + Jeremy Lamb would seem to get them pretty high, but not high enough to get Noel which is who they were apparently targeting. Hard to assign any value to Lamb at this point, but Jackson certainly helped his value when Westbrook went down. I would think OKC would want to take two draft picks to fill their roster with inexpensive players that they control for years to come.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostApparently OKC just failed in a big push to get #1. Wonder what they offered?
