I think he is the player of the draft. I think Nerlens as the first pick is a big risk but seems to be a good fit for Cleveland. I can see NN being another Oden.
Bill Simmons threw out a lot of trade scenarios yesterday. The most interesting were DaMarcus Cousins to Washington for the #3 pick. Another one was Clevelands entire draft (#1, #15, #31, #33) and Tristan Thompson for Kevin Love.

I'm going to love it when Bron heads back to a Cleveland team loaded with young talent.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Lebron, Kyrie Irving, Nerlens Noel, Varejao, Dion Waiters,Tyler Zeller and the lottery picks for the next two years. I think that could be a championship team in 2016 or 2017.

I agree. I really hope Bron stiffs that d-bag Dan Gilbert again though.

And Thompson damn near averaged a double-double at 22. He's solid as well.

Apparently DJ Stephens recorded a 46" vert at a workout with Brooklyn. That would beat Gregory's record at the combine.

Probably the second highest vert ever for a former Memphis player.

Saric withdraws from the draft. Too bad.

Chad Ford said a lottery team gave him a promise and he still withdrew.

Apparently he was less concerned about where he was going to be drafted than he was about how much he'd play and get to develop because he's so young.

He should get with David Locke so he would know that he doesn't need to play to develop his game in the NBA.

Chad Ford put out his draft tier article this morning. And for the first time ever, he doesn't have a single prospect in either Tier 1 or Tier 2. We knew there wasn't going to be anyone in Tier 1, reserved for sure fire all-stars. Last year the guys in Tier 2 were Kidd-Gilchrist, Barnes, and Beal. The year before it was Irving and Derrick Williams.

I understand how most of the prospects have major questions surrounding them (Noel's knee, McLemore's engine, Oladipo's offense) but I would take McLemore and Bennett and Oladipo and Noel (and maybe Porter) as having equal ceilings to MK-G and Barnes and Beal. I wonder what the GMs this year are thinking to create that separation.

Combining Tier 3 and 4, there are 12 players listed. So that means Utah will be picking from a Tier 5 guy at 14. But they might get someone better at 21 in this draft than usual.

Note: This next group is the largest Tier 5 I've ever had, and it shows where the strength of the draft is. There is incredible depth here, and it's not uncommon to hear teams say that the player drafted at No. 35 might be as good as the player at No. 15. There is a whopping 26 players in this group. At least eight of these players won't hear their names called in the first round.

A few teams had Antetokounmpo, Karasev, Muhammad and Nogueira in Tier 4, but not quite enough for them to make the cut. Interestingly, Ledo got two votes for Tier 4 and is a guy who clearly has been impressing people in workouts.

Oliver Mill....err I mean Anthony Bennett has gained 18 pounds. He is now a very overweight 261 pounds.

Can the Jazz just try and figure out who someone else would draft and make that pick? Imagine having Kwahi instead of Fred Burks? Heck, could have taken Isiah Thomas instead of Burks.
