David Aldridge just reported that the Jazz are trying to get in on the Josh Smith trade talks. But it would be some 3-way or 4-way trade with the Nets getting Josh Smith (which would absolutely make the Nets a little dangerous in the playoffs).

Houston appears as if they're trying to flip Thomas Robinson who they got for nothing from the Kings. The Rockets desperately want Smith and IMO, he make that team a lot better.

Is Chandler Parsons better right now than Josh Smith? He is on offense. Not as good defensively or on the glass, but he's also going to cost a lot less.

On another Houston note, I think Lin and Harden might've figured out how to play together. Their February splits:

Lin: 16.9 ppg, 6.9 apg, 1.9 spg, 47% FG, 50% 3pt, 85% FT

Harden: 30.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 7.3 apg, 56% FG, 55% 3pt, 84% FT

If Lin can keep playing well, they've got a nice foundation to that team with Lin, Harden, and Asik. I'm not sure what it'd take to get Smith, but I'd have to assume Parsons would be included in that. Smith would certainly help Asik cover the inadequacies of Lin and Harden on defense.

Maybe for Hickson? Supposedly Portland was trying to get a 1st rounder out of him but nobody would do it (which seems kind of crazy given how productive he's been this year and his age). Maybe they're after Maynor now.
