Heat v. Pacers on Sunday. Heat on a 17 game win streak, Pacers have won 8-10, are 2nd in the east, have the #1 defense and #5 point differential. Pacers look really good and have been the toughest matchup for Miami this year.
Seems reminiscent of Indy v. Jordan/Bulls the last two years Jordan played in Chicago. Miami has the best player and a very top heavy team. Indiana has a good SG, tough front line, and some versatility along the perimeter. Indiana in 97-98, however, wasn't just good on defense (5th) but were also 4th in off. eff. Aside from Reggie, Smits, A. Davis, and D. Davis, they had Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson, Derrick McKey, and Chris Mullin was 3rd in ppg and hit 44% of his 3's. Those Bulls went through some really good teams in the East during their championship years.Comment
